Bio
I’m Chadwick (Chad) Fleck, a lifelong learner, civil servant, values junky, failed disc jockey, returned Peace Corps Volunteer, spouse, and parent. I’m an Associate Certified Coach (ICF) and a Coactive Trained Coach (CTI). I teach others to be coaches. I’ve lived and worked in Eswatini, Nepal, and the U.S.. I dream of living on each of the six major continents. (Three down, three to go.) My career has been in employee and organizational development as a trainer, facilitator, mediator, researcher, coach, and useful un-expert. I’ve studied sociology (MA) and zoology (BA) and laughed when I found they’re not so different.
I coach people who are curious and motivated. They’ve held roles like Executive Leader, Research Scientist, Police Officer, Non-profit Leader, Project Manager, Attorney, Techie, Athlete, Parent, Retiree, and Student. I work with a few clients at a time.
As a coach, I show up with curiosity, connection, and courage. I believe we can tackle big topics with both levity and gravity. I stand for fairness, integrity, and inclusion. I believe the universe is unfolding with each decision we make, whether it is clear to us or not.
My clients say that we figure it out and make real change in their lives.
“Chad reinforced through this coaching experience, that I have all the tools within me to achieve success.”
“I gained skills in respectfully holding others accountable, in part by holding myself accountable.”
“Being able to speak with my coach and express what I thought was hindering my professional progress helped me to clearly identify next steps to address my issues successfully.”
“A couple big ways I improved are finding new perspectives to avoid getting stuck, reframing success that improved my confidence, and a growth mindset that increases my performance.”
“Chad helped me identify the big, ultimate reason that I do my job, which really helps to keep me motivated. He also helped me identify my leadership style, which is both satisfying and empowering.”
